Audience:
The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed for Healthcare professionals and students attending college to become a Healthcare Provider.
Course Content:
Participants will learn how to perform CPR in both in and out of hospital settings. Key components of the course will train participants to:
· Promptly recognize cardiac arrest
· Give high quality chest compressions
· Deliver appropriate ventilations
· Provide early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
· Administer techniques for relief of choking victims
The course includes adult, child, and infant rescue techniques. Skills will be practiced as part of a team and individually.
Course Length: 4 hours
You will receive your American Heart Association course completion card on the day of the course.
